About Laos Toohey

Laos “Asian Bull” Toohey is widely known for his relentless pursuit of competition titles during his fight career. As a fighter, Toohey was a popular competitor, impressing spectators with his stamina and tenacious fighting technique.

It is these skills today, that Toohey now instills in his own students.

Toohey is also a 4th Dan Taekwondo Instructor with over 20 years experience. Toohey’s reputation as a dedicated athlete and trainer precedes him, and he is regarded a one of the most repected and disciplined martial artists in Taekwondo, Muay Thai and Kickboxing.

Through his knowledge of training and discipline, and the belief of the positive impact that Martial Arts can bring to one’s life, Toohey helps individuals achieve their goals, and to be the best they can be through their sport.

Toohey has, as a Trainer and a Coach, trained dozens of Champions, including Victorian, National, South Pacific and the Commonwealth, alongside Master Dana Goodson.

As an Assistant Trainer he has helped prepare Tibor Vemes to Win an I.S.K.A Super Middle weight World Champion.

Rose Cincotta Choundary
Rose is a 3rd Dan Instructor and alongside Toohey also has 20 years of training. In Taekowndo Rose was also an Interclub competitor, achieving Gold and Silver as well winning 2 Silver Medals at the Victoria Taekwondo Championships to add to her achievements.

Rose currently instructs 5-6 days a week, teaching students as young as 5 years of age through to Adults.

Rose also run school programs utilising Taekwondo techniques in a less formal environment and she also enjoys Kickboxing training.

Priscilla Choundary
Priscilla holds a Taekwondo 1st Dan and assists with instructing and demonstrating Taekwondo techniques, both at the club and school programs. In recent years Priscilla has competed at several Interclubs and Victorian Taekwondo Championships achieving Gold and Siver medals.

In 2005, Priscilla was Member of the Year at the Melbourne Taekwondo Centre in recognition of her hard work and achievements.
